Bio

James Mudrak is a freelance writer and creative based in Escondido, California, emphasizing music journalism, songwriting, creative writing, product management, and storytelling. With his AA in English and BA in Literature and Writing Studies, Mudrak uses his writing style and conversational nature to deliver quality interviews from trailblazing artists and newcomers alike for New Noise Magazine.

When he isn’t sifting through the web’s archives for the latest and greatest of today’s sounds, he’s focusing on his brand, Unify Collective. Founded by Mudrak in 2017 as a passion project to host his own musical efforts, this medium has become a platform for creatives to promote their efforts to a larger audience. He has curated sold-out merchandise on his website, conducted interviews with local artists, and promoted the works of others to give other artists a voice.

Writing for Mudrak is about the creative and emotional fulfillment it brings to him and his audience. Whether it’s an article, an interview, a song, or simply a poem every word matters to captivate his readers to take action within their lives. Using writing as a tool to give not only himself but also others a voice, has shown him that words have more of an impact on the human psyche than people like to give credit for.

Mudrak’s creativity and writing techniques don’t stop at music journalism and his brand. Mudrak has contributed his writing and vision to websites and companies such as GREY Journal, Genuis, No Echo, Housecall Pro, Palomar College, and California State University of San Marcos.
