Bio
James Mudrak is a writer and creative based in Escondido, California. His work moves between music journalism, songwriting, and brand storytelling, always circling back to the same instinct: words should make people feel something and then act on it.
As a contributor to New Noise Magazine, Mudrak has interviewed artists from rising DIY acts to genre-defining names, drawing out the stories behind the music rather than just the press-cycle talking points. In 2017, he founded Unify Collective, a platform built to give independent creatives — musicians, photographers, designers — a bigger stage and a real audience, complete with sold-out merchandise drops and artist spotlights.
His writing has also appeared in GREY Journal, Genius, No Echo, and elsewhere, spanning music, culture, and business. Whether it's a cover story interview, a poem, or brand copy, Mudrak treats every piece the same way: as a chance to give someone whether it’s the reader, the artist, or himself a voice.
